Muchi is a fast-paced game that we created during the Chillennium 2024 Game Jam in just 48 hours! The theme, “Hang in There,” inspired Muchi’s concept: hanging clothes while racing against the clock to satisfy the demands of a cruel boss. It’s a fun and frantic experience that tests teamwork and time management under pressure..

One of the main features I created for Muchi was a hanger setup system that allowed artists and designers to quickly place new hangers in the level and define what type of clothing should appear on each one.

Since the game was built during a 48-hour game jam, it was important to create a system that was fast to use, easy to expand, and did not require artists to constantly ask a programmer for small changes.

The system was built in Unreal Engine using Blueprints and enum dropdowns in the editor.
